Welcome to the Needham Young Girls Soccer League!
The Needham
Young Girls' Soccer League is for 1st and 2nd grade girls in Needham,
Massachusetts. Our goal is for every girl to have
fun and develop a sense of self-confidence while playing soccer.
Coaches are encouraged to provide positive feedback to players of all
ability throughout practice and game time. Teams are balanced among ages and
experience levels.
Registration
Registration for
Fall
2010 is now at capacity. We will be unable to accommodate anyone
on the waiting list.
The registration form for
the Spring 2011 season will be posted in this location around
mid-October. Please check back frequently.
Schedule
The Fall
2010 season will start on September 12, 2010 and continue through
November 14, 2010.
Teams
will meet every Sunday afternoon at the
Hillside School in Needham from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Each
week,
teams are assigned to a
field and to a team to play for that week's game. The time from 3:30 -
4:00 is designated as warm-up and practice time, while 4:00 - 4:30 is
designated as game time. A whistle will be blown at 4:00 and 4:30 to
indicate the start and stop times for games. Team coaches will keep
track of the play and break times for their individual games.
